How to Cook Salmon
No matter which method you choose, you’ll want to cook your salmon until it reaches 145°F in the center of the cut. But don’t fret if you don’t have a meat thermometer. When the meat flakes easily with a fork, it’s a good sign that it’s done.
For a crispy outside, try pan frying. Frying can splatter oil and make a mess however, so you may want to use a splatter guard or screen. Or, take the fish outside to the grill.
For the easiest hands-off method, use the oven to broil, bake, or oven-steam salmon. You can also use a pressure cooker, but it won’t brown the meat like frying or baking.
